Testosterone propionate

Testosterone propionate is an anabolic steroid, the fastest ester of testosterone. This steroid is quite popular among athletes of power sports, and especially demanded in bodybuilding. Among athletes, propionate is considered a relatively mild steroid.

Testosterone propionate cycle

Propionate is used during “cutting” and bulking. Since this drug detains in the body less water than other testosterone esters, as well as contributes to the burning of fat, athletes use it mainly during cutting.

It allows you to increase your muscle mass, and blocks the catabolic effects, increases strength and improves the relief of the body. Due to the fact that this drug retains water in small quantities, muscle gain occurs gradually and evenly, and the gained muscles are quite high-quality and dry. Even a light solo cycle, for a period of 6-8 weeks at 50 mg a day, will allow a beginner to gain 2-3 kg of quality meat.

In case of contact with the body, propionate is quickly absorbed, raising the level of anabolic hormones in the blood. Just 3-4 hours after injection, you can feel the energy and rush. The maximum concentration in the blood of this drug falls on 24-36 hours after injection.

However, propionate also fast reduces its activity. Its half-life is 1-2 days, so at the end of this period, the level of anabolic hormones will rapidly decrease. In this regard, injections of propionate should be performed daily or every other day.

It is a feature (short period of action) that distinguishes this drug from other popular anabolic steroids, such as testosterone enanthate, testosterone cypionate, sustanon, omnadren, etc.

Many athletes, especially beginners, are negative about propionate because of the high frequency of injections. Indeed, this gives a certain discomfort, but the injection of propionate (provided that they are properly performed and you use a quality drug!) painless and do not cause any discomfort in the future. For example, if after injection of testosterone enanthate, athlete can feel on the place of an injection a “foreign body” even a week later. But after testosterone propionate, literally after 6-8 hours, there is no discomfort and no pain.

Also, a significant advantage of a short period of propionate is that in the case of allergies to the drug, or other unforeseen circumstances, the athlete can simply stop performing injections, and just after 2 days propionate “erodes” from the body.

How to take testosterone propionate

Most often testosterone propionate cycle lasts 6-8 weeks. Because of fact that propionate is aromatizing, from the 2nd week to the end of the cycle it is advisable to take aromatase inhibitors or proviron. This will help you to avoid estrogen side effects such as gynecomastia, edema, etc.

For experienced athletes, working dosages start at 100 mg per day, for beginners it is enough 50 mg every other day.

Testosterone propionate wonderfully combined with almost all ASs. When cutting, it should be combined with stanozolol, turinabol and other drugs that do not detain the liquid in the body, on the mass with methane, nandrolone, etc.

Do not forget that the dosage of drugs should be selected individually, taking into account the characteristics of the body and the ultimate goal of use.

PCT after propionate testosterone

After completing the cycle, after 2-3 day, you should be tested in order to evaluate the state of the hormonal system. Usually propionate post cycle therapy is carried out after tamoxifen or clomid. It is also desirable to drink testosterone boosters (Tribulus, or its pharmaceutical analogues), omega-3.

Don’t forget to follow a proper diet, consume adequate amount of protein (1.5-2 grams per 1 kg body weight), diligently and competently train and have a perfect sleep. If possible, additionally take sports nutrition (protein, gainer, amino acids, etc.).

Testosterone propionate side effects

Due to the fact that propionate aromatize strongly enough, athletes may experience estrogen side effects, such as gynecomastia, acne, etc.

However, compared with other testosterone esters (eg: sustanon, enanthate), the frequency of propionate side effects is lower, and drugs such as aromatase inhibitors, antiestrogens, gonadotropin will significantly minimize them.
