According to the park (via Screamscape), the iconic Mountain Slidewinder water toboggan ride has permanently closed. I have verified with @Dollywood that the Mountain Slidewinder attraction has been retired after 32 years of enjoyable service. Mountain Slidewinder will no doubt be missed by many.
