She’s just not, as some viewers assume from watching the show, 100 percent blind. “It’s a very common misconception that people think blindness is all or nothing, it’s not true at all,” says Christine, who gradually lost her sight between due to an autoimmune disease called Neuromyelitis optica.

The Blind Goat just opened in August 2019. It is located in my hometown of Houston, Texas. We serve modern Vietnamese cuisine. The name stems from the fact that I’m known as the blind cook or chef, and I was born in the year of the goat.
