We don’t know. He left Jill at the conclusion of RE3 and hasn’t really been mentioned in any other media since. Unlike the RE movies, Carlos was never a recurring character. He does appear in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles but only in scenes that are set during the events of RE3.
