Tonseth is awake every day by 6 a.m., and by 7 a.m., Tonseth and his fellow cadets are in formation, ready for inspection and prepared to take on a day filled with intense academic and physical activities. Unlike at other colleges, Tonseth is not referred to as a “freshman.” Rather, he is informally known as a plebe.
