Why does Hannibal kill will?
In season 3, Hannibal wanted to kill Will so he could “forgive” him. As for Will’s family getting attacked by the Red Dragon, that was a deliberate attempt by Hannibal to move Will back to him. If the Red Dragon kills them, great! Will’s distraction from Hannibal is gone.
