Why does Midari carry a gun?
She used to be a pirate captain, but her first mate led a mutiny that left her stranded on a deserted island with only that gun loaded with a single shot. To this day she carries it around, intending to use that single shot to kill the first mate who betrayed her.
Why do Yumeko’s eyes turn red?
Appearance. Yumeko is an attractive pale-skinned girl with waist length black hair that has bangs styled in a hime-cut, and brown eyes (her eyes become red whenever she is excited).

Is Natsuo dead?
He was declared dead, as it was believed that he ended up completely incinerated, since the only thing that was found was a part of his jaw. His “death” affected his family, and despite being an accident, Natsuo considers his father responsible for Toya’s demise.
